A young girl moves in with a Danish mafia family in an intense crime drama about loyalty and fateful choices.

Seventeen-year-old Ida becomes an orphan after her mother dies in a car accident and moves in with her aunt Bodil (Sidse Babett Knudsen), who lives with her three adult sons. It soon becomes apparent that the new foster family makes a living through both drug trafficking and extortion, and it doesn't take long before Ida herself gets pulled into the criminal path. Sidse Babett Knudsen shines as the well-meaning but deeply criminal matriarch, and debutant director Jeannette Nordahl creates a tight and claustrophobic thriller about family ties and irreversible consequences.
