Vera and André are trying to get their globally conscious health app off the ground and have been accepted into an exclusive workshop with a renowned pitch coach. Just before the event, Vera visits a hypnotherapist to quit smoking. However, the radical treatment proves to have unexpected side effects, and André soon sees his dream of a major financial breakthrough slipping through his fingers as the otherwise emotionally reserved Vera suddenly seems to have shed all social conventions. Asta Kamma August (Burn All My Letters, Events by the Water) and Herbert Nordrum (The Worst Person in the World) deliver impressive performances as young careerists in Ernst de Geer's feature debut, which sharply critiques the tech world and its posing conformism.
