A fascinating Burmese contemporary portrayal by festival favorite Midi Z, depicting an unassuming medical clinic in a shed in Yangon, and a country in turmoil.

Two doctors run a humble private clinic in a cluttered kiosk-like shed in Myanmar's largest city. Here, patients are treated for various ailments and issues, often including mental health problems and alcohol abuse. There is also room for conversations, including discussions about the state of the country, corruption, incompetence, events in the Rakhine state, and the persecution of the Rohingya people. Gradually, the film zooms out from the clinic, revealing a larger and more political context. This is further emphasized by one of the doctors also being a film director now working on a controversial project. GFF favorite Midi Z (Return to Burma GFF 2012, The Road to Mandalay GFF 2017) returns with a unsettling portrait of Myanmar, offering an extraordinary and captivating cinematic experience.
