At the same time humorous and touching as three generations gather to once again celebrate the Christmas holiday at the grandparents' house.

As in previous years, the sisters Susanna and Helena travel with their families to celebrate Christmas with their parents. Traditions and behaviors are repeated just as they have been many times before; anecdotes at the dinner table, grandfather who drinks too much, and grandmother who has to take care of everything. Simmering dialogue about the various chores of the day and meaningful silence highlight the family members' interpersonal relationships, their underlying conflicts, hopes, and shortcomings. Debuting director Tia Kouvo paints with delicate brushstrokes a perceptive and accurate family drama that captures both the humor and the banal humanity when different generations try to interact with each other.
